I'd actually like an 1.2 update for Fairy Tail vs One Piece, and I do think it needs one since some characters are overpowered. Doflamingo in particular is a good example. His U not only covers almost the entire screen, but it comes out fast, has low end lag, and it easily covers dashes. Fairy Tail vs One Piece does deserve a new update to be honest at its current state. As for adding more characters, I'd prefer adding actual new characters than adding the same character with a different moveset and time period.
